Wheelhouse Baseball Academy lead hitting instructor Ryan Basham will be offering a new Winter Hitting Class through the months of November and December. The course will run for 6 weeks. Each weekly session will be an hour in length and will take place on Saturdays.
Class sizes will intentionally be kept small (maximum of 6 per group), so that each player will receive loads of individual attention. The course will be open to two age groups; 8-10 year olds & 11-13 year olds.
Ryan will focus on all aspects of hitting, including mechanical work, mental approach and strategies, timing, core strength and stability, and more. Each weekly session will feature drill work, but will also include live batting practice and fun competitions. While the class is focused on development, it is also designed for kids to have fun and further develop their enjoyment of the game of baseball.
Participants will have their exit velocity recorded and have video taken at the beginning and end of the course to track progress. Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive a personal evaluation with recommended drills and tips for their continued development.
