Basham Baseball has added a couple new features to make our clients’ scheduling experience quicker and easier. Let’s find out what they are and how you can use them to make scheduling your lessons a smoother process!
Client Scheduling App for IOS and Android
Our clients can now download and use a new mobile application for their IOS or Android devices for scheduling. The app, provided by our scheduling partner Acuity Scheduling, allows you to book lessons, purchase packages, and manage all of your appointments directly from your smartphone.
To download, search for the Acuity Scheduling Client App in your Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or simply scan the QR code below. Once the app has been installed on your device, you will need to add Basham Baseball.
To add Basham Baseball as your business, from the app’s homescreen, tap the “+” icon. Then tap “Scan QR Code” and allow your device’s camera to scan the QR code below once again. If the QR code does not work or you prefer to use a URL instead, tap the “+” icon from the app’s homescreen. Then tap “Business Scheduling URL,” then copy and paste the URL https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=14353034
Tap “Add Business” and you’re done!

Lesson Waitlist
During the busy months for baseball and softball instruction, available appointment times can be hard to come by. It is not uncommon for the lesson schedule to be completely booked up for weeks at a time. At the same time, cancellations and rescheduling of appointments happen on a weekly basis. In the past, the client would need to inform the instructor directly of their desire to slide into any timeslots that become available, and the instructor would need to then notify the client if and when there was a cancellation.
To make this process smoother, eliminate some of the back and forth communication, and to ensure a fair and equal chance at securing a last minute opening, we have created a new waitlist feature.
Now, when you are in the appointment scheduling window of our website or scheduling app, you will see a link to the “Private & Group Lesson Waitlist.”
If you are having trouble finding a day and time for your lesson that works for you, simply click on the waitlist link. A new calendar will pop up where you can then choose your desired lesson time. Create as many waitlist appointment times as you would like. The more times and dates you choose, the more likely it is that one of those times will become available.
When you set a desired waitlist time, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. From there, you will not receive any additional communication unless an appointment time becomes available. Waitlist times that become available will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
