Due to Governor Holcomb’s extension of the stay at home order, we will remain shut down from all activity at Basham Baseball until, Tuesday, April 21st.
The order will be in effect until 11:59 pm on Monday, April 20th, but could potentially be extended. I will be closely monitoring the situation and update you if anything changes.
If you are scheduled for lessons on April 21st or beyond, at this time you do not need to do anything.
If you have lessons scheduled between March 24th and April 20th, you can reschedule them for a later date of your choosing. I will be reaching out to all of you who are scheduled during the stay at home order individually as well.
When the order is lifted and lessons resume at Basham Baseball, I will continue to take the same safety precautions I was taking in the weeks prior to Governor Holcomb’s order going into effect. As always, you can continue to purchase and schedule lessons for after April 20th. I anticipate there will be lots of players wanting to knock the rust off once this order is lifted!
In the meantime, I’ll be posting simple at-home drill and exercise videos on my social media (Facebook: @ryanbashambaseball, YouTube: Basham Baseball, LLC, Instagram: @basham_baseball…if I can figure Insta out with all this extra time ?). Please direct your kids to the pages. It will help keep them busy, and allow them to continue to work on their game during the next couple weeks.
If you have videos of your player hitting, fielding, throwing, etc, and want some quick suggestions and direction on what to work on, feel free to send it over. I’d be happy to share my thoughts. With all this free time, I may even offer online training at some point… STAY TUNED!
Finally, before I go, I want to thank all of you who have continued to support my business up to this point. It means a great deal to my family and me.
Please take care and stay safe over the next few weeks. Baseball and softball will be back sooner or later, and the opportunity to play and watch these wonderful games will be all the more meaningful!
